The original Mendip Clay Trap Controller has been operating onsite for over 50,000 hours.

Customers are given an electronic “key” that is programmed with a value, or set to count up. The key is inserted at the controller adjacent to each stand. Traps do not operate without a valid key. Each time a trap is fired, the key is updated. The value is displayed on a LCD screen. When finished the key is returned and read, the customer pays for the amount of targets released.

In the first week of introduction clay targets usage was reduced by a staggering 50%!
